When Time Comes To A Halt’ is a documentary photography series that explores the remnants of a forgotten estate known as Tanglin Halt. This site, formerly a thriving satellite estate, has given way to the inevitability of redevelopment,  and its identity in the process. The series seeks to encapsulate the fleeting essence of this ageing estate, that will ultimately fade away with the advent of redevelopment. Every trace of rust, and each fragment serves as a poignant reminder of a once bustling place that has now slipped into obscurity.
The images are meticulously arranged to chronicle the estate’s progression from brightness to darkness in its state of vacancy, aiming to evoke a profound sense of solitude. They capture the metamorphosis of a place once teeming with human activity as it transitions into a desolate and abandoned relic.
